The Archaeological Museum of Ontinyent and the Vall d'Albaida (MAOVA) preserves, studies and shares the district's archaeological heritage. It is an archive of the material legacy of the peoples and cultures who lived here before us, especially from times when written records were scarce or non-existent.
What you can discover
The Ontinyent area has been inhabited since prehistory: Neolithic sites, Bronze Age settlements such as the Cabeço de Navarro, Iberian remains, Roman farms and Moorish Ontinyent (Untinyân). The museum tells this story through objects found in excavations.

- Address: old courthouse building, Carrer Regall, 2 (next to La Vila).
- Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday, 6 pm to 9 pm; Saturday, 10 am to 1 pm. It is best to confirm with the Casa de Cultura (+34 962 91 82 30, 9 am to 2 pm).
