    Three Kings Parade

    🗓️ Next edition: 5 January 2027

    Their Majesties parade through the centre from Sant Josep church to the Town Hall, organised by the Friends of the Three Kings Association.

    Bonfires, blessing of the animals, traditional market and folk dance in the Ermiteta quarter.

    Mig Any Fester (Mid-Year Festival)

    The Mig Any Fester marks the halfway point of Ontinyent's Moors and Christians festival cycle. Several festival events take place over these days, above all the Desfilada del Mig Any, a parade of the comparsas and many festival bands. Ontinyent Medieval usually takes place in the old town at the same time. Dates and programme for each edition are published once officially confirmed.

    Ontinyent Medieval Market

    The old town fills with craft and food stalls, entertainment and shows. It usually coincides with the Mig Any Fester.

    Falles of Sant Josep

    In the Sant Josep quarter: dances, contests, a procession and the burning of the falla in the parish courtyard.

    El Rocío Pilgrimage to Morera

    Ontinyent's Casa de Andalucía takes the Virgin of El Rocío on pilgrimage to the Morera hermitage, with a procession, festive huts, a rociera mass and the Salve. Valencian Rocío brotherhoods take part, such as the Hermandad Valenciana de Culto, led by its Hermano Mayor (head), Manolo Martínez, the first person from Ontinyent to hold this office in a Rocío brotherhood.

    Cúgol and Sant Pere de Verona Festival

    An old garlic-harvest festival, at the Sant Josep del Pla hermitage and in the old town: folk dance, open-air party and procession.

  • Saturday closest to 10 July

    Sant Cristòfol

    Drivers honour their patron saint with a procession and the blessing of vehicles, which then tour the town sounding their horns.

August

    Sant Rafel Quarter Festival

    The Cross de la Manta race, the lantern parade with the Cuc, folk dance, firecrackers and fireworks.

October

  • Around 9 October

    Llombo Festival

    Valencian flags, contests and folk dance. Every four years, the giants' gathering.

    Tic Tac al Parc

    Free family festival in the Mamàs Belgues park: music, theatre, magic and workshops.

    La Puríssima Festival

    The main festival, since 1642: the Cant dels Angelets, the giants and big-heads and the traditional Bou Embolat.
