About Ontinyent.com

The project and who is behind it

What Ontinyent.com is

Ontinyent.com is a personal, independent website that brings together useful information about Ontinyent in one place: pharmacy on duty, weather, fuel prices, events, what to do at the weekend, things to see, festivals, food, routes and practical guides.

It is meant both for people who live here and for visitors, and it is available in Valencian, Spanish and English.

Why it exists

Ontinyent.com has been online for many years. In 2026 it was completely rebuilt around a simple idea: anyone should be able to quickly find what they need to know about the town, without jumping from one website to another.

Not an official website

It is a private, independent project. It is not the website of Ontinyent Town Council and does not represent any public authority. For official procedures and announcements, always check ontinyent.es.

Where the information comes from

Most of the data updates itself several times a day from public sources: pharmacies on duty from Canal Farmacia (Valencia Pharmacists' Association), weather from Open-Meteo, fuel prices from the Spanish Ministry, EV chargers from the DGT, events from Turisme Ontinyent, the Town Council and the Vall d'Albaida association of municipalities, news from local media and maps from OpenStreetMap.

The texts about places, festivals, routes and guides are written by hand, using official sources. Even so, mistakes can happen: if in doubt, check with the official source.
